The location is perfect for those who are on business or looking to do some shopping. It is close to the business center downtown and surrounded by shopping malls and restaurants. the West Nanjing metro stop and the next Metro station are in walking distance, making it easy to explore the city. the rooms are spacious and come with a kitchen and study, providing convenience for longer stays.
The facilities seem to be deteriorating rapidly, which may be a concern for some guests.

Great locations nearby! 🏬 If you're into shopping, Westgate Mall is just a stone's throw away from this place. the Wujiaochang neighborhood is also a must-visit with plenty of interesting spots to explore.

There was a small kitchenette with a microwave oven and hotplates in the unit. Hotel's not far from tourist spots like Westgate Mall.
Don’t have any issues at all.

This hotel is in a great location. I lived in Puxi several years ago and this was in the same area. Close to the Metro and close to Jing An area..my favorite.
The Hotel is old and needs an upgrade... The beds are hard as a rock, the rooms have no insulation so I could hear everything going on in the next room ( had to bang on the wall to get them to quiet down), the shower backed up and the water leaked onto the carpets in the room....like I said it needs an upgrade with all the new hotels popping up all over Shanghai..

Great value for money and conveniently located near high-end shopping and metro stop. The rooms were surprisingly spacious and had a convenient safe.
The noise from the street kept me up at night and the airflow was uncomfortable even with the windows closed. No Wi-Fi provided, only cable-internet for an extra charge.

The hotel rejected my credit card 3 times before my arrival, hence my first booking was canceled. There was, however, nothing wrong with my card as I had no problems whatsoever using my card elsewhere. I ended up making a reservation through Booked.net again, but at a higher rate. This time my card was accepted by them. I verified my credit card details several times, and there was nothing wrong there either.

Rooms are spacious. Location is good, relatively close to West Nanging metro station and to malls and restaurants, But don't get impressed by the Prada, Gucci and Bottega Veneta stores around: the hotel is fair at best.
Service was terrible: when checking in at 1am, there was a group of 30 people entering at the same time and the front desk wanted to scan all their passports before giving us room keys (although the group already left for their rooms...). When asking for a taxi Friday evening, the hotel simply said it was impossible to get a taxi at that time, not providing any help or alternative. There is no lobby, meaning you have to wait for their slow service standing. And concierge only served to give maps and try to sell Expo tickets; when we asked for checking restaurant hours or for recommendations, we got an ugly face. Rooms are old, with stained carpets, old wallpapers, very hard beds (more than other Chinese hotels I've stayed at).

This hotel exceeded our expectations during our Easter vacation. the rooms were clean and surprisingly spacious, with great views. the location couldn't be better, being in the heart of a bustling shopping district and close to main subway lines. We also appreciated the free internet and refrigerator offered in the Superior Suite.
The check-out process was a bit disorganized and slow. the expensive breakfast wasn't necessary, as there were plenty of great dining options nearby.

The hotel is really cheap, and u can have a suite for a very low price. Central location. You can spend half the price of other luxury hotels in the neighbourhood, but with 50 m2 suite. Good service.
The furniture is a bit old; the staff speak poor English but they are kind; no waiting space in the hall.

We had a great stay here! The location was super convenient, just a few blocks from the metro station and surrounded by restaurants and shopping malls. It was so easy to explore the city from here, and we even found it a breeze to get to and from the airports. The staff was very friendly and helpful, offering services like room service and car hire, and they were available 24/7. The room amenities were top-notch, with everything we needed from an ironing board to a flat-screen TV. We also loved the indoor swimming pool, a perfect spot to relax after a long day of sightseeing.
Highly recommended to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable hotel with quality services.

I've stayed here before and I love the location close to nanjing west road, with goo shopping and close to several western bars and eateries
The beds are the worse I have (tried) slept in. The are so hard and if you mention this you get a thin duvet to put underneath. They seem to have lost all the English TV channels they once had and there was no Internet working in the rooms. I did notice posters in the lift saying they ate about to embark on restoration of all rooms so prepare for it to get worse before it gets better with lots of noise. That will be last stay in the golden tulip until the refurbishment is finished and then I may be back
